Whisper’s Magical Children’s Hospital and Maternity
The first children's hospital of its kind in Uganda, providing first class medical care for children up to 13 years of age for UGX 40,000 (includes consultation, lab tests, medication and 7-day review). Flat rate admission fee for child inpatients is an extra UGX 50,000 (so, UGX 90,000 total) which includes hospital gowns and meals for the patient and their carer.
We also provide maternity/gynaecology services; we aim to be the best place for you to have your baby!
We offer a number of FREE services, and by popular demand, we can offer consultations for adults, a fertility clinic and sonography.
Except where noted, all of our services are available 24 hours, every day.

FREE services
- Free tuberculosis (TB) clinic for children on Tuesdays from 8am to 5pm
- Free sickle cell clinic for children on Wednesdays from 8am
- Free cervical cancer screening on Thursdays
- Free immunisation services for children on Mondays and Wednesdays 7:00am to 1:00pm: diphtheria, whooping cough/pertussis, tetanus, pneumococcal pneumonia, hepatitis B, Haemophilus influenzae, diarrhoea, tuberculosis, measles, polio
- Free ultrasound scans for pregnant women every Tuesday at Mpummudde Health Centre IV and every Friday at Bugembe Health Centre IV
- Free physiotherapy clinic for children on Saturday mornings

Sonography
Available Monday to Friday. A wide range of scans is available including abdominal, echocardiograms, transcranial, breast, prostate.
Fertility Clinic

Free Sickle Cell Clinic
On Wednesdays from 8am.
All the medication including blood tests, Folic Acid, Fansidar, Vitamin D, Hydroxyurea included.
Patients must have proof of sickle cell diagnosis.
